Another winner from Debra Webb

Debra webb is on the fast track with her new series of romantic suspense. I have found both TRACELESS and NAMELESS to be exciting, fulfilling, romantic reads. The plots are great and the writing easy to read and follow.

Vivian Grace is an FBI agent. She is a rookie who is determined to do a great job and get ahead. She has incentive, she was kidnapped by a serial killer "Nameless" when she was seventeen and only by submitting and finally killing her abductor was she saved. Even with her nightmares and memories she is fighting to save a child, when she reaches out for a "legend", one who lost the battle and was used as a scapegoat by the agency.

Ryan McBride has existed on the fringe of society since he was fired from the FBI. He was emotionally frayed by the loss of the child and his job. He lived the job, saving countless lives and returning them to their loved ones. Now he has given up and his best friend is the bottle. Until Vivian arrives on his steps. She demands he return with her to Birmingham where a young child has been kidnapped. The kidnapper demands the reinstatement of McBride and McBride is the only one he will talk to.

Vivian and McBride both have ghosts to face and several lives to save. The tension is tight and the romance is explosive. Somehow all the kidnappings are connected. The story reachs a stunning end. I recommend this one if you like Allison Brennan, or Beverly Barton.

Namelessly Good Read

Nameless was the first book that I have read by this author but I definitely will be reading the rest of her books. I found the story very well written with great character development. It was the type of book grabs you right from the beginning and keeps you wanting to read straight through to the last page. I am an avid reader with a handful of absolute favorite authors but this is the first book that really made me want to write a review. I often rely on the readers' reviews when searching out new authors and if you like suspense books with some romantic attraction going on but not overwhelming the story give this book a try.

Speachless

It's always a thrill to find a great book, and this was my first time reading Debra Webb. Nameles was the best suspense book I've read in a long time. The author beautifully combines elements of suspense and romance. Smooth writing with an intriguing and intelligent plot. Vivian and Ryan are both great characters on their own and make a sizzling couple. Highly recommended!

Another knock out novel by Webb

Former FBI agent and hostage negotiator Ryan McBride has never quite forgiven himself for the death of a child on his watch - unfortunately, he was the agency's scapegoat and has spent the last several years burying himself in a bottle. Determined to prove her worth, FBI rookie Vivian Grace, takes on the role of convincing Ryan to return to the agency because a kidnapper is on the loose and will only work with Ryan. Both Vivian and Ryan are forced to deal with their individual ghosts - Vivian most fearful that her past as a kidnapping survivor (she killed her abductor) will be revealed and she'll be pulled from the case. As the two race against the clock, they soon discover that it is no fluke that they were brought into the case.

Webb is a fantastic storyteller - she manages to maintain suspense and keep the story moving at a brisk pace. And no one can create a tormented hero like Webb. Ryan is equal parts intelligent, brave, sexy, and tortured. When she ratchets up the romance, it doesn't detract from the plot. It's amazing to see it all come together in the end. I look forward to each new novel she releases and can't wait to attack her back list of novels.
