What a greta read.

What can I say P.B. does it again with this thrilling squeal to that other book which I can not tell you the title to, because no one told me what it was. If you have read the first book you will not be disappointed. P.B.'s style of writing will make anyone laugh, even if your 300 years old and you enjoy wearing white gloves. Action, adventure, new friends, familiar faces (some not so good), and a bit more detail into why Cass has such unique hearing apparatuses. A must read at any age.

If You're Reading This, It's Too Late

The second installment in the secret series by PB didn't wow me as much as the first. The narrator isn't cute or amusing to me, and the novelty has worn off. The side notes and comments weren't as interesting in this book, and I found myself skipping a few of them. That being said I ate this book up. I read it in one sitting. At the end of it all I felt like nothing much happened. The novel centers around finding a monster, it turns out that the monster is rather easy to find, then it's over. Somehow that took up 300 pages. It certainly flew by. Cass and Max-Ernest haven't changed much from the first novel, and there isn't too much to them; they are pretty much your average teenagers. The series is certainly light and fun and worth a try, but this novel lacked the interesting cliffhanger that the first one had. I'm not sure if there is any need to continue on since I'm pretty sure the secrets will never be revealed to us, but I have the third book sitting here to read anyway. If you are looking for something fun to do for an hour or two this book definitely hits the spot, but it isn't amazing or unique, just ok.

Awesome

I love it just as much as the other two books, I started with the first book in the series and bought the other two immediately. I just couldnt put it down. My favorite part is when they go to the magic museum and meet the anomatronics. I eapecially liked the parrot the only downer for kindle is Pseudonymous Bosch's comments are at the end but overall I loved it.

Beware!

Dangerous secrets lie between the pages of this book.

OK, I warned you. But if you think I'll give anything away, or tell you that this is the sequel to my first literary endeavor, The Name of This Book is Secret, you're wrong.

I'm not going to remind you of how we last left our heroes, Cass and Max-Ernest, as they awaited intiation into the mysterious Terces Society, or the ongoing fight against the evil Dr. L and Ms. Mauvais. I certainly won't be telling you about how the kids stumble upon the Museum of Magic, where they finally meet the amazing Pietro!

Oh, blast! I've done it again. Well, at least I didn't tell you about the missing Sound Prism, the nefarious Lord Pharaoh, or the mysterious creature born in a bottle over 500 years ago, the key to the biggest secret of all.

I really can't help myself, now can I? Let's face it---if you're reading this, it's too late.
