Vamps, Werewolves, and humans Oh My!

I had mixed feelings about this book. On the positives: I LOVED the allegories to Wuthering Heights. I also think her writing style is fantastic in this book; she's turned into quite a prolific author! Most embarrassingly, I cried when she left Jacob. Kind of a lot. I guess I'm not above a little teen angst getting to me. I think that scene and her feelings afterward is really beautifully written. On the negatives: I felt like Meyer had to go back and explain a lot of unnecessary stuff. This is a very character-driven series, I appreciate that, but do I really care about 30 pages of Jacob's tribal legends? Do I really care about Jasper's transformation? Not really.On with the love triangle!! I tore through the first two novels at a ridiculous speed, but the third seemed a little longer to me. I still loved it, and I've got no doubt that I'll love the 4th and final novel in the series, but I kind of get the feeling that she's drawn it out a little too long. We all know she's gonna marry Edward and get bitten, and while that's going to be hugely rewarding and I'm sure extremely beautiful and romantic (*sigh* death and vampirism), she really could have ended this book that way. It will be a little silly if there's yet another evil vampire that wants to kill Bella and Edward has to save her yet again...ummm but I'll still be reading it the day it comes out!

Love This Series

Having actually lived in Forks is what originally drew me into this series. Now I'm totally hooked. This well written, well plotted story line has me already counting down the days until book 4. It's nice to read such a mesmerizing story that has some values to it. I think this book will attract a wide crowd from young readers to old and keep them engrossed.

Stephanie's Best Book so far!!!

Out of all Twilight series books this one is my favorite so far. I love how you get to know each character even more than you do in the first two books. It just makes me want to read them all over and over and over again!

What a twist in the sory!

Like all of this series, I loved this book... I was a little upset by what had happened with Jacob later in the book because I really like Edward... But I could understand. I know what it's like being IN love with someone but being more IN love with someone else. Great book and I think that this series is endind too soon!!! I have the 4th book on pre-order and can't wait until it comes out... After I read the last book my only question will be:

WHEN THE HECK WILL THE MOVIES COME OUT!!! I really think they should make these books into movies like they did with Harry Potter!!!!
