This is an exceptional tool for
back pain
sufferers. Very well written in plain english with a great workout and streches in an easily explained format...well worth the investment.

We bought the book when my wife had
back problems
12 years ago on her doctor's recommendation. We have been doing the exercises prescribed in the book ever since. Many times we have loaned the book to friends who had back problems and the exercises have always been able to help.
Excellent book!!!

very helpful
This book is full of good information to help people take care of their
back
s. It gives the basic information about your back before explaining how to care for it and when to go see a real doctor. The information is consistent with the information given to me in "back school" by the physical therapists training us to take care of our backs. I have given and loaned the book to several friends. In every case, it seems to have helped. It is a good guide to improving the health of your back and finding the proper care when needed.

SAVED MY BACK!
A few years ago, I injured my
back
in a yoga class and for a while, I thought nothing would help. For months afterwards, I was in pain, even though I tried ice, then heat, then massage, painkillers, and so on. I came upon this book in a local bookstore and said to myself, why not give it a try?
There are two sets of exercises: one for people who have had back problems in the past and want to prevent a re-occurence (and this includes stretching and strengthening exercises not only for the core, but also for the legs, hips and neck) and exercises for people in pain. I did the latter group twice every day - every morning and every evening. At first, I didn't notice any difference. Then, after about five days, I got up from the floor, where I had just completed the exercisea - and the pain was gone. I mean, permanently gone, and it has never come back.
