The expensive books have been sent without bolstering in a box too big for them. That issue produced damage to the edges of the books.

Featuring over 1,900 illustrations, this two-volume color atlas presents the latest surgical techniques for repair of craniofacial deformities and clefts. It is the only reference that comprehensively covers the wide range of current surgical procedures for both skeletal reconstruction and supplemental soft tissue reconstruction. Volume 1 of the atlas is devoted to craniofacial surgery, including surgical planning, surgery for craniosynostosis in infants, orbital surgery, surgery of skull deformities, nasal reconstruction, maxillary and mandibular osteotomies, skeletal reconstruction after trauma and tumor excision, and orthognathic surgery. Volume 2 focuses on clefts, and includes both primary and secondary corrective surgery for unilateral and bilateral cleft lip, nose, and palate. Surgical procedures described include alveolar bone grafting, premaxillary repositioning, and maxillary and mandibular osteotomies.
