...the ultimate truth, the most beautiful book I've read...
This
book changed
my life; it is my Bible. How
God
, how the world, could be experienced in any other way than what is depicted here is unimaginable. For the intellectuals, it gives meaningful answers to the difficult questions in life, reconciles science and God, lifts the layers of untruth that religion has placed over spirituality. Its basic lesson, about always moving toward the grandest vision of yourself, resolves almost any challenge we face in life. I have read all 3 books in the set, and will read everything else by Neale Donald Walsch. The passionate ideas inspire movement in my soul and bring tears to my eyes almost every time I pick it up. One day I can even envision building a school like the one mentioned in Book 3 to help shift humanity to a place of love. God is truly in these pages.

These books can change everything!
This is in regard to ALL of the Conversationwith
God
book
s.
Firstly, somewhere in the first couple of books of the old testament (Deuteronomy, I think) God orders the wholesale slaughter of every man, woman and child in Jericho. No, this is not the God that I care to believe in, commune with, nor even acknowledge for that matter. Secondly, Jesus proclaimed that "lo, the kingdom of God is within you." That said, why would we think it impossible that a man can't know, via personal experience, the Creator? I'm quite sure Jesus did, so did The Buddha, Paramahansa Yogananda, Mahavatar Babaji, and a host of others. Thirdly, if each person is in fact an extension of God, and that individuation does something "wrong" (by our standards) how can God by being angry or judgmental towards that individuation (i.e. himself)?
We have had and continue to have all manner of ethical, religious, moral, political, philosophical, and governmental doctrines and we still have war, starvation, neglect, abuse, hate, greed, violence, poverty and abject misery. Our fascination with belief systems and doctrines is the point where a lot of contempt is bred. I don't need any more of that. I don't want a wrathful God, I want a loving one, I don't want a judgmental God, I want an understanding one and I certainly don't want a vengeful God, but a joyful partnership with him/her. After all, how can I be expected to offer love, kindness and understanding to my fellow humans when God doesn't show me the way?
What Neale has offered is a joyful, liberating, and timeless way to view the world, those living in it and most importantly, the Creator. Neal's books have opened my eyes and my heart to the possibility, in fact the near certainty - that we do have God all wrong, and that we desperately need to develop a new cultural story.

What a sad and fearful world.
i alredy ordered the 3
book
s, i was so excited when i read the first pages, i am so happy. I also took my time to read some of the reviews and the comments to those reviews. Have you done the same? you should, and you will notice how sad and confused people is, guess who, the ones that make negative comments on the book. If only people for one day could think for themselves, forget about religion, forget about the bible, just go on your day with a clear mind, without any judgement, fear, guilt or any other feeling that would keep you repressed from being you, from being who you truly are, a part of
god
. But no, they decide to neglect such a clear and beatiful message that would do only good to this world, and they will go next sunday to church filled with guilt and fear to listen to this guy to say "welcome to my church, the true church, keep coming or you will go to hell", i dont know, i do think for myself, and i cant find internal peace or happiness from someone like that, or even from a book that all it says is we are sinners only by being born?... that would make me think... wow, it woud have been better if i didnt born, right? 3 words for the whole world.... THINK FOR YOURSELF. have the courage to put everything aside for once, and seek deep inside you, get to know you first. And for all of this people that wrote those hatefull words, i still love you.
