The myth of male power

This is an excellent book which should be mandatory reading for all Sociology courses. It should most especially be read by so many of these man-hating feminists who see the world through their own narrow viewpoint. It certainly asks some very pointed questions about the discrimination that goes on in our world against men, and it is well written and researched.

Enlighten yourself

I was myself powered when I read this book. It helped open my eyes about the challenges that I as a male will have to endure due to society. I hope men and women can read this book to see what it has to say and digest the information and have a better understanding about the current state of society. I hope that equality between both men and women can be reached soon as to remove the shackles that we are born with and that radical feminists are limited in their power.

One Piece of the Relationship Puzzle!

The Myth of Male Power is written to explore why male and female roles that were previously functional need to be revised. The book is a bit of backlash from the feminist movement. It is a good reference text because it has food for thought by looking at the world from a man's perspective. Also, there are humor cartoons to lighten the tone.

The book needs to be read with discretion since it is one sided at times. It is only one piece of the complex puzzle of male/female relationships. Understanding relationships from the male perspective is worthwhile. Equally important is understanding the female perspective. To round out our understanding of male/female relationships are books that explore paths to celebrating our differences as well as our similarities.

Women have Power, but do Men have Authority?

I recommend William Farrell's book, 'The Myth of Male Power'.
This book offers you "tools" you can use to build arguments
with. For example, in his book, you will find facts, figures,
and examples that can be used to support the following kinds
of arguments, which Farrell also makes in his book:

Neither a victim, nor a victimizer be. Females talk about a
"glass ceiling", but don't want to hear about "iron cellars".
Most office workers are female. Are not all coal miners
paid the same? What does "equal pay for work of equal value"
mean? Think WORK EQUITY, rather than PAY EQUITY.

"Male Bashing" is a sport called BOXING: "They" do not want
males to NETWORK (compare notes, and think for themselves)
and so they try to build walls between males, "boxing" them
in. Say, MALE HATRED, and not, MALE BASHING. Beware
of language used to build walls, rather than bridges.

What does violence mean? VIOLENCE is the IMMORAL use of
physical, or psychological force. It was not a violent act
when David slew Goliath, or when eunuchs threw Jezebel out of
a window. It is an act of violence when the police
intentionally bruise or cut a prisoner's wrists by placing
"handcuffs" upon him too tightly. Why aren't handcuffs
padded? It is also an act of violence when males as part of
high school athletic programs are coerced into showering
together. Likewise, why are male prisoners expected to
shower together? In the woods, a man will seek privacy if
he has to "go to the bathroom", but in public washrooms,
privacy is not available for those who wish to "go to the
bathroom" standing up. Acts of psychological warfare are
being committed against males. Who protests?

Could the SHOAH have taken place without first convincing
people that Jews were "racially inferior"? Therefore, it
should not be called "hate speech" when you use a word such
as femi-nazi, or feminazism, to describe a political
philosophy of male hatred, and the people who practise this
philosophy. Femi-nazis are using hate speech laws to
effectively silence (censor) they who would protest against
them.

Democracy is 'one person, one vote': Hence, by destroying
males across the earth, "women's rights", or 'male slavery' is
being promoted. Don't confuse a LEGAL right with a MORAL
right. In five years, only 3,000 American soldiers are
reported to have lost their lives. Also, the news
organizations do not want to say how many arabs have been
killed, and what percentage of arab casualties are male.
Before and after WW1, and WW2, the borders of the European
states remained almost unchanged, but the male population
had declined significantly. Divorce laws were written to
guarantee that a woman would be "kept in the lifestyle that
she had become accustomed to". After decades of war between
Iraq and Iran, Saddam Hussein granted Iraqi women the right
to vote.

Threatening a man with imprisonment if he does not give his
ex-wife "support payments" is EXTORTION, and moreover, it
teaches children that male slavery is socially acceptable:
That is not love. If you say "women and children's rights" you
are saying to boys, "Men have no rights." That is child abuse.
It is child abuse to promote male slavery. Don't confuse a LEGAL
right with a MORAL right. They who treat men like a resource
send boys a message: They are teaching boys that males are as
cattle.

In golf, there is a word called 'handicap' which is now considered
to be an example of hate speech: A handicap is when you give a
player extra points to make up for a disadvantage, to "level the
playing field". After reading this book, you might be of the
opinion that electoral reform ought to mean counting a man's vote
twice, for females outnumber males, especially on university
campuses.

WARNING: Farrell's use of biblical references were unnecessary,
and inappropriate.

False teachers need to be silenced. (Only True Believers are able
to say, "Jesus Christ is Lord". The letter 't' in 'C-h-r-i-s-t'
is not a silent letter.) The woman was created FOR the man, and
not the man for the woman, wherefore he feels a NEED for her
whereas she may only WANT him if he is useful. Upon the earth,
the man CLEAVES to his wife, and not her to him: He is like a
garment, which is useful but not needful. Whereas CHRIST is the
garment which is needful, the man upon the earth is not needful
from the woman's perspective. After the Fall, the "goddess" was
placed in chains, and the "dominatrix" was unleashed: She has the
power to withhold affection from a male who desires her in order
to obtain the carnal things she desires. Women use men because
they can.

Farrell debunks the myth of male power. He dares to question the image of male-as-oppressor, arguing that this misconception has hindered not only men, but women as well.
