The book was excellent, however, Amazon sold it to me for $4.99 and on the cover it was only $2.99. I am disappointed in Amazon.

Good, but short

This was my first Christine Feehan book. I really like her as an author. It was unfortunate that this intro to the Drake sisters was so short. I think that it's a good introduction to the world of the Drake's, but more back story would have been helpful. Feehan's writing is clear and imaginative. She does a great job of portraying family life among a group of girls. The story is warm and interesting without being fake. I look forward to more.

After the brief glimpse of Sarah Drake, I was ready for the rest of the sisters to take shape. Ms Feehan developes her characters so that you visualize who they are. I will be following this series.
