Accelerated Learning

Out of the books on accelerated learning I liked this one the best. Not only did these techniques work for me but I now combine accelerated learning with biofeedback to help children with learning disorders. Using the techniques from this book I even did a research showing how learning can be improved in ADHD children. The research is at

"Accelerated Learning Techniques" is a fantastic book about the different learning styles people have and specific techniques to cater to your own "learning style". Author Colin Rose gives a workflow style technique for accelerated learning, plus several techniques for each learning style.

I was impressed by Rose's learning maps at the end of every chapter and the organization of the book. Plus the diagrams and lists are an invaluable help.

The only part I didn't like about this book was the difference between the first part of the book and the second part. The first part focuses on how to accelerate your learning, finding your own personal style, and how to increase your memory. However the second half focuses on teaching accelerated learning. I think that Collin Rose should have split this into 2 separate books.

However, Accelerated Learning Techniques is for everyone! Literally everyone! Pick up this book and read it! (At least part 1) Your brain will thank you. 4 out of 5 stars.
