Very Helpful

This is the most helpful book I've found for planning a trip to Disney World. Birnbaum's official guide is nicely done, but it is not as thorough; and the unofficial guide is unbiased. We've purchased the unofficial guide every year we've gone to Disney World and we've never been disappointed. I highly recommend this guide over the other books out there.

All around Orlando

Very comprehensive. Covers every aspect that you need to consider when going to Disney. Covers all of the major attractions/hotels/resorts in the Orlando area. Buy the book early and plan your vacation to Disney at least 6 months out! We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation, we weren't sitting up each night planning the next day.

First time Visitor

This book really enabled me to plan ahead. For a first time visitor the book really explained all the attractions well and I would recommend this book to any first time visitor. I was able to visit all four Disney major theme parks and the two at Universal in one trip. Reading this book allowed me to maximize my family time and visit all the attractions at the parks.

The reason I bought a Kindle!

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World is simply the best reference book to Disney World. The guide simplifies the mind-bogglingly complex task of planning and experiencing a trip to Disney while entertaining readers with its wry wit.

The one and only problem with the guide is that its increasing bulk made it nearly impossible to actually carry it around the Disney Parks with you. I decided that I would buy a Kindle as soon as the Unofficial Guide was available in a kindle edition, and now I have.

Wonderful book, now convenient to have with you in the park.

Well worth its cost.

This is the book that is a MUST BUY if you're planning a trip to DW. The cost of this book is nothing compared to how much a couple or family will spend going there, so it is well worth the money spent! But if you're going to Disney World, buy this book well in advance of your trip. Buy it even before you choose what hotel you're going to stay at because it is very helpful in knowing which hotels are good, and which are not. What I like most about this book is that it is very objective since it's publishers are not on Disney's payroll, and it's also very reliable since the book is updated yearly.
