okay but

usually love Feehan's books but a little dissapointed with this one. Basically none of the characters are very well defined or developed. It is just a story without the usual depth which draws you into the ghost walker world.

Good book, but not up to previous titles in series

This sixth installment of the Ghostwalker series is a good story. I enjoyed it and will probably re-read it at some point. Unfortunately it was still a bit of a dissappointment.

Previous books in the series have been real page-turners for me. They are the kids of books you can't put down and spend all night reading. I had no trouble putting a bookmark in this one and saving it for later.

It was more angst than action, the tension between characters was lacking and the storyline fo the Ghostwalkers really wasn't advanced by this installment. Story-building information seemed to be slipped in at too-handy times and the usual "match" between Ghostwalker counterparts seemed to be more talk than actual bonding.

While this is still a very ejoyable read, don't expect the intensity and page-turning action and romantic tension of Feehan's previous Ghostwalker books.

Predatory Game Christine Feehan

Certainly one of her better books, she manages to keep the excitment going right through until the end - having now read 5 of the Ghostwalker novels, I can hope she is going to write some more.

Game series holding up better than dark series

This is book 6 and I'm still enjoying the Ghostwalker series. At about this point in Ms. Freehan's Carpathian series, I realized I was tired of reading the same story with a new title about the same characters with new names; although, I think I read about 10 or so before I quit buying them. Another reviewer felt this series was getting repetitive back in book 5. If I begin feeling that, I will drop this series, too; but so far that hasn't happened for me. I found Jess Calhoun and Saber Wynter as interesting as the Norton Twins and their twin heroines. I'll be there for book 7.

The new Ghostwalker novel from the #1 New York Times bestselling author Saber Wynter is running from her past when she meets ex-Navy SEAL and Ghostwalker Jess Calhoun. But the riddles of both their pasts are about to collide, shattering the promise of their future with the ultimate betrayal.
