still a great read!!!

OK, I know a lot of people thought that this book could have used some more editing, and I will agree with that. The only other thing I thought was a little excessive was the crying and pukeing. I think everyone in that story threw up at least once if not several times. I thought it was a little unreal, but aside from that ....it really is a good story. I had just finished Garden in the Rain, which everyone gave such high praise. I thought "Garden" was good too, but "With Every Breath", I was really pulled in. I had a hard time putting it down. I finished it in two days, and I am also in the middle of moving to a new house. You won't be disappointed if you are Kurland fan, and if you can ignore the pukeing. It is a solid story, some good twists and turns.

awesome!

I luv Lynn Kurtland's books and this one was no different. It was such a wonderful love story that it makes you wish that you could travel thru time to find the man of your dreams.

Started out good, and then....

I liked the first part of this book, when the heroine was pulled (literally) back into the past. Sunny was self-reliant and strong in this part. I was pretty impressed with her. Finally, a strong heroine who doesn't fall into pieces at the face of crisis...or so I thought.

After she got back into 21 century without her love...and all of a sudden she became a cry baby. Okay, she thought she lost the man she loved, but still! I don't understand why she refused to talk to anyone else about her time-travel experience, especially everyone in her family was a "seasoned time-traveler"!

Okay, Cam, the man she loved, surfaced in the 21 century without any memory of her. That was sad, but hey, at least he was alive. And would Sunny do anything about it? No. Just keep sulking. So what Cam was engaged to someone he clearly doesn't love! The reason the Cam and Sunny tormented each other for the sake of this "engagement" is just beyond me. And the ending plot-twist (with the crazy Fergussen woman)was just too clinche for me.

I general like LK, but this book is not her best. I still love her Nine Kingdom books tho.

?One of romance?s finest writers? (OAKLAND PRESS) does it again.

When medieval laird Robert Cameron pounds on Sunny Phillips?s door, he isn?t paying a social call. He?s braved a trip onto enemy soil to fetch the MacLeod witch, a crone renowned for her healing powers. But the woman who opens her door to him is enchanting and young... and not from his century.
