straight forward
This is a straight forward examination of
Wright home
. The photos are clear and straight forward so the lines of the house can be seen. Nothing flashy, but that is not what is needed here. The criticism of the book is that it includes very few interiors, but these are afterall primarily private homes. It is nice to see the
houses
he designed in chronological order.
This beautifully illustrated book takes a look at many unusual private homes designed by
Wright
, from the cantilevered "Fallingwater" in Pennsylvania to the "Desert-rose" concrete-block Lykes House in Phoenix, Arizona. Includes many popular examples of Wright's most famous
houses
.
