RUN............to the greatest story ever!

I bought this book one month ago for a long flight to Japan in September. In the book store I really didn't know what book to buy and I have never heard of Jeff Abbott before. Then this silver shiny cover flashed out from the bookshelf. I read the first two pages and though this is it, the book I have always been waiting for.

I think The Bourne Identity is not even close as thrilling and exciting as this story about a man, who's life is about to change.
This increadible tension throughout the whole story chains you to the book and lets you read page after page without wanting to stop.
Listening to music (lounge, cafe del mare,...) while reading the book, makes you vanish into your own world of imagination. I though I was watching the newest thriller in a theater, but RUN gives you so much more than that.
The book's buildup is like a movie itself, seperated into different scenes, which at the end leads you to the one thing you will love most, wanting more of this story.
I already bought PANIC before I even finished this book and I can't wait to get on that flight!

Fast pace & great story

While Collision might not be the heaviest and most profound book on the market...it is at the top of the game in the area of a dynamite mystery-thriller. From the beginning chapter, I found the book almost impossible to put down. With masterful prose, Abbott combines professional hitmen, competent & inept Homeland Security Officials, secret government agencies, and a bewildered protagonist in a roller-coaster tale of twists and turns.

Superb

Superb, yet perhaps too much action, not enough 'character development' in this book. I like to get to KNOW the characters a bit better, but if you like action, you will LOVE this book........... Well done.

High speed thriller!

Wow! Collision is a high speed thriller plopped right into today's tenuous political climate. Government conspiracies and under the table deals with contractors are scarily plausible in our world as well as the one that Jeff Abbott creates. If you're looking for a great read, join Ben and Pilgrim on their intertwined quests to clear their names. Looking for a weight loss solution? Read this book on your exercise bike- twice I was so deeply involved in the story that I never heard the timer go off at the end of the bike's program, and ended up riding nearly three times the distance! I can't wait for Jeff's next book...

review "Collision"

Fairly interesting. Several plot twists, characters interesting. Worth reading, if you read as much as I do.

reviews: page 1, 2

The international bestseller returns with his most ambitious, multidimensional, and tightly crafted thriller yet, a breakout achievement featuring his hallmark blend of ordinary people in extraordinary danger.

Already an international sensation, with his books translated into fifteen languages?in the UK alone, Panic has more than 400,000 copies in print?Jeff Abbott is a master of the action-packed thriller. Now, with Collision, he delivers a meaty, twisty, white-knuckle ride designed to propel him onto the bestseller lists in his home country.
Collision is the story of two men living very different lives?one, a successful corporate consultant who is mourning the murder of his new bride; the other, a former CIA agent known only as ?Pilgrim,? whose current assignment for a fringe espionage agency is so treacherous he doesn?t trust even his own boss. When they are thrown together in a violent, unexpected event, the two men realize that they?ve been framed in an elaborate setup. Unsure who to trust and who may just be trying to draw them into the open, the unlikely partners have no choice but to work together. But with everything at stake, Ben has no idea that Pilgrim is harboring some shocking secrets of his own?secrets that will soon force Ben to confront just how blurred the line has become between best friends and bitter enemies.
