The Ugly Duckling

Nell Calder was shy and she wasn't pretty, but as the wife of an upwardly mobile financier, parties and dinner engagements were a given. Nicholas Tanek, a known enemy of the cartel's top man, knew something was going down, but hadn't reacted fast enough to save Nell. Riddled with guilt, he flew her to safety and paid for the necessary plastic surgery. The ugly duckling was transformed into a swan. With her husband and daughter dead, beauty wasn't reason enough to go on living, but revenge was.

A Good one

I can't tell you the book is a thriller but it keeps going. I can't tell you that you won't be able to close it till you finish it but it'll keep you interested in the story. I can't tell you that some parts are out of reality but with little stamina could be. So just open this one be part of the plot and enjoy yourself. It's worth it.

This is absolutely, hands down, my FAVORITE book ever! Well-written, and certainly very imaginative. Her books are realistic in detail, and this one is true to form!
