Great!

When Dawn baby sits for the Baretts', Dawn thinks baby sitting there is easy. First, The Barett House was dirty so they had to clean it. Second, Kristy hates Dawn of being a BSC Member. Kristy is jealous of Dawn because Mary Anne spends more time with her old friend, Kristy than her new friend, Dawn.

Great

I loved this book. I don't think it is the kids that are impossible though. Their mom is. She is as disorganized as Dawn's mom. But Sharon spends more time with her kids.
Anyway, this was a very good book even though it was a little scary when Buddy got kidnapped by his dad. It turned out fine. I will read Babysitter Club books til i die.

Dawn and the Impossible Three

Make that the Impossible Four. The Barrett kids are a lot to handle, but they're out of control because their mother doesn't TAKE control, making Mrs. Barrett the most impossible of all.

This is Dawn's first book. She finds herself trying to make nice with Kristy, who's unhappy with the idea of moving across town when her mother gets remarried. Dawn understands and works hard to overcome Kristy's jealousy over Mary Anne and Dawn's new friendship. That's part of the reason she takes on the Barretts as new clients. She never expected them to become the challenge they turn out to be. How things work out - and they always do - is something you'll have to read the book to find out!

References to Morbidda Destiny, who stars in Karen's first Baby-Sitters Little Sister book, are a nice way to tie the two series together. I only hope I can someday catch up with Martin's prolific pen.

WRONG TITLE!!

Don't judge a book by it's cover - or it's title! The title "DAWN AND THE IMPOSSIBLE THREE" gives you an idea tht the Barrett kids are a real problem, but don't be fooled! The book should be called "DAWN AND IMPOSSIBLE MRS. BARRETT". She never gives Dawn baby-sitting instructions, leaves the wrong phone numbers and leaves the house a wreck, making Dawn feel that it's her responsibility to clean up! Her disorganization leaves Dawn in a mess when Buddy Barrett is kidnapped by his father. (He is returned in the end.) I am happy, though, that Dawn got everything straightened out in the end with Impossible Mrs. Barrett!
