Tom A. Wiggins' delivers a no B.S. account of the War on Terror. His story-telling skills are no doubt to attract those who have an interest in the subject or have served in the Armed Forces. Wiggin's story is an amazing tale of courage and tenacity and counters the anti-war movement with an in-your-face attitude that embraces virtues such as duty, honor, and country. I reccommend this book to all servicemen and women and anyone who thinks the war on terror is unjustified.

Perfect for any true American

This book had me hooked after the first page! I would highly recommend "100 Days in The Ghan" to any American that considers themselves a patriot. It made me laugh and cry often in the same chapter. Its an easy read and comes across as if you are listening to Tom Wiggins himself tell you about his incredible life changing story.

100 Days in The Ghan is a captivating story of one ordinary kid who felt called to serve following 9/11, and was ultimately severely wounded in action. Wiggins story begins on 9/11 and walks readers through a series of events that leads him, and his friends to join the military. Upon completing training Wiggins finds himself in the nations oldest and most prestigious Special Operations Unit, the Airborne Rangers. During his time in the Rangers, Wiggins deploys in support of the Global War on Terrorism five different times. On May 13, 2004 Wiggins dies on a battlefield in Afghanistan (The Ghan) several times only to prove all of the doctors wrong and make a near full recovery.
