EMT Basic Flashcards

I encourage my EMT-B students to purchase this book at the beginning of each course. I have found it to be extremely helpful in studying for their lessons and constant review. Many of my students have come back to me when the course was over and they had tested nationally to tell me they felt this book was a tremendous help to them.

Helpful

The questions are a little bit easier then those found on NR, but they are the same kind of questions. This product is very good for practice and repitition right before taking the test.

Good overall, but not without flaws.

I used this as a study aid and passed, so I guess it can't be all bad. The questions are phrased clearly and concisely. It has about the same level of difficulty as the actual exam.

I will warn any potential buyers that there are some mistakes and/or outdated info. The most obvious being the compression to ventillation ratios are more than a little off.

If you're comfortable enough with the material to spot the mistakes, then it's a good aid, but don't rely on it exclusively. If something sounds wrong, look it up.

Nice Little Book of Flashcards

Overall, I found this to be a nice book. The questions are marked with images that make it easy to look up certain topics you are interested in studying or reviewing. There is an index section for this too.

The only "problem" I had with this book is that the rational for only the correct answer is given. I think it would have been better to have the rationals for each answer given.

Really helpful book

Idea to get so many questions in one book and add glossary and answers is brilliant. I'm taking exam on June 23rd, this book helped me to be ready.
