Saved the Best for Last
Excellent
book
, only sad to see the story end. This
saga
is well worth the $ to add to your collection is romance and vampires are your genre. The book might seem long at over 700 pages, but honestly it didn't feel long enough. I can reread this book and the rest of the saga again and again and still feel the love of the characters so well written it makes it hard to believe its not real.
Deserves Better
While
Breaking
Dawn
is not my favorite in the series I am giving it 5 stars because I think it deserves better than what some have to say about it. Breaking Dawn does not betray its fans and stays true to the story that Stephenie wrote from the beginning. I admit there were parts that had me rolling my eyes and one scene that had me go ewww, but it still was a good
book
. At first I was upset that book 2 was from Jacob's perspective as I continued to read I found it just as enjoyable.
I know fans love Bella and Edward, but maybe just sit back and enjoy this story for what it is. A modern day fairytale.

It didn't disappoint!!!
I'm a big Stephenie Meyer fan! I have all five of her
books signed
and I've loved each one of them. This final book answered all the questions that were building up throughout the series. It truly didn't disappoint. Keep 'em coming Steph!!
this may be against the grain...
I do honestly feel that this novel was a great way to end a wonderful series. From '
Twilight
' on, it has always been un-realistic (come on, it's a story about vampires and werewolves!!) so I never expected a realistic "life is tough-there is no happy ending" finish to it all. That is why I rank it 5 stars. It met my expectations because I didn't expect realistic.
I sat down to read a fictional story because I didn't want to think about reality. I wanted to escape for a few hours and WISH that the world could be as perfect as it is in those
book
s. I am 26 years old so I have lost all of my teen angst that would make me angry about the happy ending for everybody involved. I really don't think that the books are meant to be taken as moral influence. A girl risking her life and the life of her loved ones to try out first time romance with a vampire? How could anyone look for morality in that?! It's a story to be taken however the reader wants to take it. A fantasy to help readers forget about their troubles for a bit. From the time a girl is a toddler she is shown that life can be perfect in movies with princesses and magical forests with handsome knights. So what's the big deal about the girls growing up, reading these books and getting that happy ending when they are old enough to know that life can't always be so perfect? As females, we are raised--if we watch Disney movies--to wish we had our happily ever after. It's nice to wish. I for one appreciated it being taken to a more mature level and reminding me how to dream.
I can see how it might disappoint the younger fans that wanted other certain outcomes. But I enjoyed it and will read it many more times!
This is just my opinion of course. I probably expected something different than others so I felt no disappointment at all. I want more!

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation , loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the date of two tribes hangs.
Now Bella has made her decision; a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life--first discovered in
Twilight
, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse--seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?
The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight
Saga
,
Breaking
Dawn illuminates
the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic.
