Life's Lessons

If you attended college during the 80's and 90's, this is a must read. It is also a good read for those who were not in college; but were striking out on their own during this time. There are many things to relate to; struggling for a dream, struggling through relationships, putting up with less than pleasurable jobs, and just plain maturing as one tries to figure out what life is all about.

Took me back to a more care-free era.

I picked up this book upon a friend's recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed it. By the time I entered collage the late 90s were upon me and the world was a far different place from 1985, so I really enjoyed reading about the college experience during those times. He mentions a few major events that happen and I recalled where I was and what I was doing at the same time. It was interesting to compare it with my own life experiences, and I found my self grinning as I read Hany daily struggles during those times.

Hany has a smooth writing style that reads very well and easily blends with the tempo of the subject matter. I'd never read a "personal experience" book like this before and I was surprised I enjoyed it so much. I'm glad my friend recommended it to me and I've loaned out my copy as well!

This book will give you 105 Things to laugh about!

What a riot! Anyone who has been to college will enjoy reading about this author'e unique experience. The story, as a whole, is interesting, and each anecdote leaves you wondering what could possibly happen next! This book is also sure to spark some of your own memories, so read along and prepare to remember "the good old days"

Laugh and Learn

105 Things I Learned in My 10 Years of College is a very entertaining look at the author's struggles to make it through college and into the "real" world. Many obstacles hinder him in his ultimate goal of graduation and self-sufficiency. He achieves success the hard way. All can benefit from his insight and experience and learn from his mistakes. Present and future college students should put this book on their school supply list. For those of us who have already treaded through our college years, this book will definitely revive a memory or 105. This is an easy read, very funny. This reader couldn't put it down and laughed all the way through. Great gift!

105 College Stories to Relate To

Mr Hany presents college life in a very amusing manner. I enjoyed his sense of sarcasm and way in which he laughs at his own mistakes. This is a book that could relate to and made me reflect on my own college experiences.

The enlightening story of one college student's struggles to get through school without studying (for the first seven years). In addition to the normal college pitfalls: beer, women, and foreign teachers; this book delves into the deeper topics of money-grubbing landlords, trigger-happy roommates, and Christmas at a Jewish Dental Convention. Thrown in for kicks are fat neighbors, drunken clowns, juggling sharp things, stolen underwear, airplane problems, psychos, idiots, karate guys, a farting dog, a three-legged mouse, and much more.

It'll take you back to (or introduce you to) college life in the 80s... and in the 90s.
