Miracle Stuff

Resistance stretching is incredible. First I read the book and did a couple of weeks of self stretching. Improvements began immediately. My knee and shoulder both had chronic pain for over 20 years. At 54 I had given in to my body being riddled with arthritis and that I would just have to live with it. Was I wrong ... after stretching for 3 months ... some assisted ... I can now state that I am 100% pain free, I take very long walks, surf and do all of the things that I haven't been able to in years. Thank you for this awesome program!

Yes, Genius!

I used to own a business in the same building as Bob Cooley's studio and got to know him and his practices over time. He is unbelievable. He's a genius, for sure, and a synthesizer, and by that I mean that he takes existing knoweldge, wisdom and practices and creates something new and better. When I first heard about the book I doubted that he could translate his theories and work onto the printed page, but he has. This is a MUST READ for anyone who does body work -- people who teach yoga or personal trainers or physical therapists. Bob is increibly intuitive. This book allows people to integrate Bob's approach into their own work. He's just amazing.

Amazing!

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy Student at one of the top ranked schools in the nation. The funny thing is that I've learned more from spending just a few days with Bob Cooley than I have in all my physical therapy classes combined.

This is the best book on stretching and exercise, period. This is the only book/program out there that gives you the tools to improve no matter where you are starting from. There are other books on flexibility that focus solely on doing the splits. Most people I know don't care about doing splits they just want to get rid of nagging injuries and see measurable improvements in their strength, flexibility, aerobic capacity and athletic performance. The Genius of Flexibility will help in all of those areas.

Mostly everything you need to know about resistance stretching is mentioned in the book, therefore it is important to use it as a reference often. If you only use it to look at the diagrams on the various stretches then you are selling yourself short. I find chapters 5,8, and 15 to be extremly important and I refer back to them on a regular basis.

Give this book a chance and you won't be disappointed!
