Jack & Jamie's Story

Jack is investigating Jamie's office for computer fraud. He knows that Jamie would never be involved with the stealing because Jamie is his sisters roommate. He decides to follow her and do some investigating until they accidental meeting on the subway. Meanwhile Jamie psychic told her she would meet her soul mate in food accident... Lot of sexual moments, light story.

The first of book of this series was The Pregnancy Test- (Mandy Keeling and Damien Sharpton) and on her website she said that planned to write a whole series but due to a change in publishers Allison and Caroline story have be put on hold.

I Wanna Know Jack!!!

Erin McCarthy does it again with this awesome book. I've read 'The Pregnancy Test' and was hoping the next book would be about Jamie. I'm glad that my wish came true.

Jamie Peters is a sweet Social Worker with a heart of gold. She's extremely loyal to her friends, believes in love and helping those in need. The only problem seems to be that she wastes her time on men that need her then throw her away.

Jack Davidson is a retired millionaire @ 33 and trying to find a new direction in life...who knew that direction would lead him straight to Jamie.

The two meet and believe that fate brought them together...there's just one problem: Jack lies to Jamie in a major way.

I love how Jack makes Jamie see that fate and love are worth fighting for. Jack truly loves Jamie,so much so that he even decides he wants to throw away the fortune he worked so hard to create.

This is a funny, sweet story and I can't wait to read the next one. The secondary characters are wonderfully written and made me smile everytime they appeared. Ms. McCarthy is a brilliant, witty writer and as long as she keeps writing great novels,I'll keep reading them. Bravo!

Definitely an easy & fun read

I admit I liked The Pregnancy Test better. I thought that book had more of a plot in it than this one did. However, You Don't Know Jack was still a good book to read and I enjoyed getting another look at these four friends (Mandy, Jamie, Allison & Caroline). Jack's grandfather was hilarious and had me laughing out loud. My faults with this book is that I felt it was a bit rushed. The story of the book takes place over a two week time period. I don't care about the falling in love and proposing in this short amount of time (I mean, it is fiction after all); I just felt it left a lot of strings untied. What about Beckwith's vision about Caroline and her new husband? What happens with Allison and Finn? What about the job offer for Jack (from his ex Meredith)? Do Jack & Jamie ever get married?

I know the author had intended on making this a series with each roommate having her own book, but I read on her website that she's stopping with this book due to a change in her publisher. That's really too bad because like I said before, I would really like to see some of the loose ends tied up a big fat bow.

When it comes to sizzling hot romance coupled with outrageous hilarity, nobody delivers like Erin McCarthy. Now she's back with a delicious story where nothing's on the level, everybody's got something to hide, and the only thing honest is the slow, hard pull of irresistible attraction... LOVE. SEX. DESTINY. AND A SIX-FOOT-FOUR PSYCHIC IN A BRIDESMAID'S DRESS? HONEY, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK... Jamie Peters no longer believes in true love. True idiots, true scumbags, true moochers--these she believes in wholeheartedly, and she's got the checkered dating history to prove it. So she's more than a little skeptical when her cross-dressing psychic tells her she's about to meet her soul mate????????during an accident. Yeah, sounds about right. And then it happens. A knight in shining armor steps between her and a mugger on a subway platform. Just a regular, honest, upright Jack. The kind they don't make anymore... Jonathon Davidson doesn't believe in destiny--or lying to beautiful women as a rule. But now that Jamie thinks he's just an ordinary guy, how can he possibly tell her that he's really, (A) her roommate's brother, (B) a millionaire to boot, and (C) the jerk who's investigating her application to his grandfather's charitable trust because she may be involved in something illegal? Yeah, rhetorical question. He can't. Not until he knows what's going on. Besides, it would require being able to resist Jamie's luscious curves long enough to say, "Hi, my name is Big Liar. Let's get naked." Sometimes, destiny sucks... Somewhere between truth and flat-out-let's-talk-about-this-waaay-later fiction, between fate and delicious accidental insanity, lies a whole lot of mind-blowing sex, delirious passion, unfortunate sundresses, fighting, deception, big mistakes and small hopes, and two people are about to discover that everything happens for a reason...B?~?=????EB_General_BatchInsert?? 2EN?? 2You Don't Know Jackn?_&??? 2youdontknowjack4.jpg?? 2?When it comes to sizzling hot romance coupled with outrageous hilarity, nobody delivers like Erin McCarthy.
