Eustache Lambert: Donne Extraordinaire
Was a charming historical essay on an early explorer and resident of New France. I must say that I was rather more enchanted with the fact that he is also one of my own ancestors. Well researched and presented.
The author did well in doing his research via both historical records from the Roman Catholic Church and local historical records.
The subject of the book further shows, how very savy the early settlers were to North America. How business abilities could easily be tapped into if one had a mind for such things. A good business read in an historical way. A good gift for someone who is interested in that period of early settlement. Or....for those of us related to this man. :)
