great book for Exam preparation

I have benefited much from this book in test preparation. If you are a medical student and want in-depth Physiology studies you could benefit much from larger books like Guyton's but if It is time to prepare for tests and want a book that will give you concise information, help you to prepare well, rich with questions that teach you how to think whether after each chapter you study or at the end of the book, this is a great book to read and use. the price is reasonable too !

great!

I got the book so fast and new (even if the condition stated like new)!

Great book

It's a great book to prepare Physiology for USMLE step 1. As I am an International Medical Graduate, this book is unique to prepare Physiology. It's written clearly and bold letter already highlight important facts. After the end of each chapter, the questions are very helpful and cover the chapter. I recommend this book for any person who prepare USMLE Step 1, physiology.

Great for medical school level physiology courses

This book helped explain concepts that were not explained well in my course notes. Also, I preread this book for the sections related to my lecture notes and it helps me to follow my lecture notes better. There are also practice problems at the end of each section that are helpful reviews.

Thoroughly updated for its Fourth Edition, BRS Physiology is an excellent aid for students preparing for the USMLE Step 1. The book concisely reviews key physiological principles and includes clinical correlations throughout to emphasize connections between basic physiology and clinical medicine. Numerous illustrations, tables, and flow charts help students visualize material quickly and aid in long-term retention. End-of-chapter USMLE-style questions and a comprehensive end-of-book exam test the student's problem-solving skills, and clearly explained answers guide the student through the correct steps in reasoning. This edition features increased coverage of pathophysiology, new questions, and a new two-color design and artwork.
