Very helpful

This book is directed toward first time home buyers. It was a very good guide for me when I was looking to purchase a home. It explains all the steps in easy to understand terms, and explains all the terminolgy very well. After reading this book you will know what you must do to prepare for your home purchase. You will know what to look for in an agent, you will know what to expect when you talk to a lender. The process will no longer be intimidating. Definately worth the little money you pay for the book.

Written in a conversational style, this book makes the home-buying process simple and understandable. Irwin explains a real estate transaction, offers guidance in locating the "right" house, guides the buyer through the mortgage process, provides tax tips to save money, and more.
