Mosaic of characters

I enjoyed this book but found the characterization a little off at times. A good storyline with the two women, but missing the full finesse that it could have had.It was somewhat heartbreaking to see all of that priceless china destroyed, but it served a purpose for the storyline. I did like how the characters developed and enjoyed Margaret's changes and her relationship with her own life and death.

Great Read.

I really enjoyed this book. I found the characters to be very interesting and I loved how everyone had their own "cracks" that needed healing. I especially enjoyed Margaret and appreciated how her character developed throughout the story. The chapter names were intriguing, characters flawed but perfect, and the ending was lovely.

All, in all - a great read. One that I will recommend to fellow readers.

Absolutely a MUST read!

After reading this book I added it to my top 2 for the year and bought a dozen copies to give away as gifts. It is a treasure.

Beautifully written and engaging

Stephanie Kallos has written a story that plumbs the depths of the minds and emotions of her characters. The story line holds you attention and makes you crave more. Kallos describes how very human, diverse community come together and bring their strengths to enpower each other. The book was written with alot of imagination. For me, the elements of community, redemption, and committment were strong.

As an author myself, I was astonished at this new author's way with words. I have to say this is the best book I've ever read. I usually pass my books around, but this one's a keeper. READ IT! It's an amazing blend of words that you will never forget.
