Execellent for Christians

This is an excellent study guide for Christians in the workplace. Plenty of scripture review and thought provoking questions. Deals from the position of as a Christian how do I deal with so much hipocrasy in the workplace, how do I answer people's questions about my Christianity and finally how do I witness each and every day.

Experiencing God in the Marketplace

Building on Henry Blackaby's landmark book and study, Experiencing God, this book takes the profound concepts introduced there and applies them to the market place. The sweeping implications of "waiting on the Lord for Him to reveal His vision for your business life", is present throughout the book, and challenged me to reexamine most of what I've learned through the best leadership development courses, books and studies that the secular world has to offer. This is a MUST READ for the business person seeking to honor God with the whole of their lives ... especially in the often dog-eat-dog, every-man-for-himself world of modern business.

Aside from Experiencing God, Henry Blackaby has made his greatest impact by ministering directly to Fortune 100 and 500 CEOs, advising them on how to effectively blend their faith with their business. Out of that ministry?s success comes God in the Marketplace, a book to help everyone from the front desk to the executive suite best experience God?s will in his or her work.

Blackaby believes that just as Jesus had businessmen among His original disciples, so may God be calling out businesspeople today in preparation for a worldwide spiritual revival. However, while those in the marketplace may have excellent educations and access to world-class leadership seminars, they often feel inadequate in matters of spiritual influence. God in the Marketplace will help them better understand what the Bible says about integrating their Christian faith with their work lives and provide biblical answers to the common yet difficult questions that are often raised for Christians at work. Endorsements:
