This is a very accessible "learning-to-learn" book. Many schools and parents will probably be tempted to join the online courses, which are unfortunately, still limited to the United Kingdom only.

I recommend Eric Jensen's books, esp. "Brain-based Learning" for those interested in greater understanding of
the functioning of the brain in learning.
