Life-changing Scholarship

I loved this book. I trusted the author's scholarship and was fascinated to learn the history of ideas about God's body. I had no idea that the ancient Israelites probably assumed "He" had a body. I am grateful for this book. It changed how I think about the history of religion.

Explores the dilemmas created by the maleness of God for the men of ancient Judaism and for Jewish men today.
