Wonderfully illustrated that is only surpassed by the outstanding story line of a little bat who loses her mother. After being attacked by an owl, Stellaluna lands in a nest full of three hillarious bird. She has to learn how to be a bird or she'll lose her new home. Great friendship and a touching end to this story. Enjoy it through Living books - you have to hear their voices. Children are enchanted for the 30 minute session on Living books that follows with a bat quiz.
