Beautiful Gift of Healing

This book has reflections and prayers for any sort of loss, which is a natural part of life. I have given this book as a gift to many different people in many different life situations and stages of loss. I find it very comforting and hope they do also. From loss of job, to loss of a loved one, relationship, your own health, or your own life, it is a moving and healing book. I highly recommend it.

Of the many books on grief, this is outstanding because it places grieving in the context of character growth. It is especially significant for Christians in its emphasis on grieving as a spiritual experience. It gives practical guidelines for the process of grieving. I will be using it as a main reference book for a seminar on grief.
