Great Study Starter

This book was a great study starter for the Middle School Content and Knowledge test. I went through the topics, then researched on the internet the things I was not sure of. One thing to be aware of....the Social Studies is NOT history. It is mostly Sociology. All in all, this is a good book to prepare one for the praxis.

I bought this book for the Middle School Social Studies PRAXIS. Although it had iffy reviews, I bought it anyway, and I'm so glad I did. This book does NOT have information to study, but it has an incredibly helpful outline of the possible topics on the exam. I used the outline and researched (with a textbook and online encyclopedias) basic info on the topics with which I was unfamiliar. In addition, this book provides a practice test, which gives you an idea of the scope and scale of the questions on the exam. If you're taking Middle School Social Studies, buy this book!
