Super Reader

It is never a good sign when an editor talks about 'this anthology is x, but I've given you some y,z,a and b in here' i.e. completely not the reason you bought the anthology in the first place, usually, for those with a theme such as heroic fantasy in this case. Doesn't mean they won't be good stories, but this editor cannotresistititis seems to strike almost all of theme, at times.

Close to the same quality as the fourth book at 3.29.

One interesting piece of trivia is that Offutt says that this was Simon R. Green's first professional story. A good pirate adventure with wizard and undead people. So, nice pick.
