El Shaddai

This is a short but powerful book. Full of knowledge that will enhance your relationship with the El Shaddai. El Shaddai let's you know what God is to you through scripture. I would suggest this book and it will only take you one sitting to read.

Always A blessing!

As is true to life with every book that I have ever read by Rev. Hagin, this one gave a boost to my faith. Rev. Hagin explains how God is indeed "El Shaddai," the God is more than enough in any situation that we face in this life. Gently he explains the power that our God has to strengthen, encourage and pull us through any of lifes challenges. Another wonderful book teaching us more about the God we serve and the one who loves us.
Well worth your time and certainly a strong help in building your faith.

El Shaddai, The God Who Is More Than Enough

This book deals with provisions that God has made for us, as His children, and speaks of the benefits we have included in our salvation. Salvation (Greek: soteria) means: rescue or safety, physically or morally; deliver; health; save, saving, salvation; be made whole) It is excellent with one exception. On page 23, Luke 16:19-28 is discussed---the rich man and Lazarus. Problem: this IS a parable. Jesus was using the Pharisee's doctine that they brought out of Babylon to correct them. Their doctrine aligned with the "afterlife" in which the Egyptians believed and did not agree with what God said concerning the dead. Scripture references are: Psalms 6:5; 30:9;31:17;88:11; 115:17; 146:4. Ecc. 9:5-6 (...the dead know not anything...neither have they any more a portion for ever in anything that is done under the sun); 9:10; 12:7. Isaiah 38:17-19 and cont. The dead have no part in the things of earth until the Lord returns. At that time: I Thes. 4:16-17: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout...and the dead in Christ shall rise first." All the dead will be raised and their life will be restored, some to receive their reward and some to judgment.
