I love this book.

I had this book when I had cancer in 2003; it was wonderful. It was the most extensive and knowledgeable book on herbs for cancer that I have ever seen. It's chock full of information. What I also appreciated very much is that she discusses the various chemotherapies and what herbs to take to complement them. I had never seen anything like that. And when she said that anybody who had Hodgkin's should never take ascorbic acid, that was information never seen. It was a wonderful companion during my illness and I am very grateful for it. I wish that it was updated.

Comprehensive and Easy to Use

This has got to be the most comprehensive herbal resource available. Easy to look up by herb and by condition. Fully explanations. Finding the recommended products (in the correct form) is sometime the biggest challenge!

Prescription for Herbal Healing

I bought this for my brother's graduation from Pharmacy college - for reference to the world of herbal medecines sold in most retail drug stores and health food stores. I was disappointed in the book - it did not include some of the remedies I have tried for my IBS and candida. Also, I was hoping for information on how much/how often to use the herbs/oils/powders, etc. I would have exchanged it but needed to give my brother something for graduation party.
