The real Turtles

I grew up loving the old cartoon, but as I grew, I found myself not liking it anymore. Then someone told me to get my hands on the original books. I am so thankful to him that I did. This was a great read. Adult, with a little humor thrown in. A must for any turtle fan. And here's hoping the new movie reflects these stories.

When I was 12 I had a friend who had the TMNT graphic novels.I went to his house and read them all.This one's my favorite.It was a time when the first two movies came out;and the TV cartoon got lamer and lamer.(i.e. jumped the shark.)Book #2 picked up where book #1 left off;how Master Splinter became missing and the Turtles are still searching for him.On a exercise run the Turtles got ambushed by "The Foot" and stumble upon T.C.R.I.;the ooze from which it came.So they decide to investigate. In the 2nd TMNT film it was called T.G.R.I. Techno Global Research
Institute.In book 2 It's Techno COSMIC Research Institute.That's all I'm going to say so far about the story.But if you think T.C.R.I. is run by a british scientist,boy are you in for a surprise in What the Turtles found and what happens next to them.This was really great.I felt like I was in watching another Turtles movie.Only BETTER!!
Years later I got all four graphic novel books.But to this day it is still my favorite Turtle's graphic novel.GET IT NOW!!
