I was given this book and read it from cover to cover in about 1 hour. This book started me on my journey into the metaphysical world. Karens life is in the beginning, which helps one discover a little more about her...a truely interesting woman. I found parts to be slightly unclear, but from my own fast paced reading I missed a few paragraphs. I suggest this book to anyone wanting to be introduced to 'guides' as Karen calls them. I found this book very insightful and a joy to read, which left me with more questions...
