It details the Belonging Program, a series of developmentally sequenced activities and exercises created at varying levels of difficulty (so they can be used with young children or adolescents) that address such issues as learning to work with others, handling verbal abuse, managing anger, sorrow, and grief, and conflict resolution. Includes custom illustrations, facilitator tools, and reproducible exercises and activities for use in the group setting, as well as samples of all forms needed to launch a support group (such as permission letters, referral forms, behavior checklists, and group contracts).
The newly developed training component allows school districts and mental health organizations to use one tool for both facilitator training and support group imlementation.
