Arm your little housewife hands with the real tools of motherhood and be darn glad someone out there is willing to give you the title you so well deserve -- CEO! I also have to say that the Happy Housewife book by Darla Shine is a perfect companion for Mommy CEO. Thanks to both for standing up for motherhood and for having the guts to do what they say in their own books - STOP BEING SO DOWN ON being a stay at home mom -- be a Happy Housewife and a Happy Mommy CEO -- I am both!

Great, practical book!

Mommy CEO covers a wide variety of parenting topics -- whining, biting, homework, temper tantrums, over-scheduled kids, potty training and much more. It's a great overview of parenting tips and an easy read. The book would be a great gift for any new -- or not so new -- parent.

Holding The Home Together

I listened to Jodie Lynn speak at a workshop last year and her book, Mommy,CEO is a trademark of her energy and commonsense tips. I found the book essential reading for all parents who wants to see their kids succeed in life.

She tells us that we should always love our children but we don't always have to like them but also persuades us to blame the behavior and not the child.

We have children that came to live with us from their dad's house and to my shock, they were full of labels like, idiot, sum bag, stupid, retard, and things I cannot write here.

After several months of family therapy, we are on our way as a mended healthy family. It's still a long road but we have jumped many hurdles.

Our therapist recommended this book for the basic day in and day out parenting skills that we were simply not equipped with.

It has changed our FAMILY TEAM for the best and offers us a life in the future to become excited about as well as inspiration to do the right thing with these emotionally abused stepchildren.

Mommy,CEO is a unique book because it encourages parents to take a look inside ourselves to see if we can make changes that will translate into a better parent.

Over and over she tells us to stop, look and listen to our tone of voice and our body language, as any good Parent/Life Coach.

In Mommy, CEO, parents teach other parents what has worked for them in their house for a specific problem -- everyone ends up learning better communication.

It is one of the best resources you will have on everyday situations. I enjoy the layout of the index because it offers quick topic guidance.

It's worth the money and it's worth the time it takes to follow the rules. We have found that the 5 Golden Rules are interchangeable in the business environment as well.

It's so hard being a first time parent to kids who are not your own, but this book has helped me grow personally as not only a parent, but as a person.

Excellent, a quick read and helpful reminder on keeping a positive attitude and organizing your family members. Ideas you've always considered, but thought would be too time intensive, she makes workable. Worth reading,and very uplifting.

It contains tips from A to Z including the ones that make parents, teachers, child care workers, friends - and anyone who works with children - want to pull out their hair! The 5 Golden Rules are easy to remember but are the basic spirit of life. It's the best of the best tips covering the most popular questions for ages two to fourteen...what else could you ask for?
