Operating Instructions for the Differently Wired Child

At first glance, this book doesn't look like much. But, after reading it through (which doesn't take long), I thought it was terrific! I have recently gotten custody of my 5 year old grandson and he's ADD. This book made a lot of sense in getting him under control and helping him learn all the stuff they teach in Kindergarten. I would highly recommend this book!

This book provides real insight into behavior management techniques for kids with or without biobehavioral disorders. The book is written in simple-to-understand language and is packed with useful information and tips. Each page has so many techniques that not only seem to make sense- they really do work! The most important thing to learn is that it is you, as a parent, that has to change YOUR behavior if you want your child to change his/hers. This book is a godsend!
