Takes the fear out of going to the doctor!

Incredible pictures and a touching story about a very scary subject. Even children without pets will identify with the little pup's fears of visiting the doctor for the first time. This is the third book I have read about these dogs, and my kids and I love each one more than the last. Congratulations on creating such wonderful characters, beautiful illustrations and life-learning lessons.

Going to the doctor for the first time can be unsettling and, if not handled well, that feeling could last a lifetime. The author does a wonderful job of approaching the subject. She shows how love and understanding and support can overcome fear. Her explanations as to what goes on in a doctor's office and the importance of the visit are terrific and very easy to understand. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and look forward to their next adventure!
