Not your typical self-help book

I find that self-help books typically come off somewhat preachy and gimmicky. That's not the case with this one. Bell uses interesting life experiences to demonstrate that solutions are generally found in the middle ground, not in the extremes which are the domain of fanatics. It's a useful book you can enjoy and learn from without the sense you're joining a cult following.

His range of experiences is incredible, and he has translated the lessons learned from them into suggestions and directions that will be valuable to anyone who will read and apply them. He assures us that bottom line results come about by the same process, whether in leading a business, a community or charitable organization or being a homemaker. He is right on.
