I love Jessica Darling!
This is a wonderful series. The writting is FANTASTIC! It is clever and witty. I was literally laughing out loud reading it. I would recomend this book for girls in high school and college.
Fast forwarding through college
My main problem with this book is that it focused on the breaks during Jess's college career so that it went through a great amount of time in a short book without being in depth with many of the new characters. Jess seems to have become a stagnant character who is waiting to be with Marcus and biding her time with other people because she is confused.

Great book for women in their 20s
I read Fourth Comings, which I loved so much, that I then read
Charmed
Thirds
(after realizing that FC was part of a series). As a woman in her mid 20s, who graduated from High School and College the same years as Jessica, the main character, I can fully relate to what she is going through. There are not enough books that explore this time of life. I feel fortunate to have read Charmed Thirds. I just wish I knew more about the parents.

Charming
This was one of my favorite books of the series. I have read all four of them now. I think the character is relateable and it was a fun read.
Still Good Stuff
Although it may not be as good as the first two, I still loved it. & will probably read the remaining books in the series...It's worth the boring parts. =]

Jessica Darling?s in college!
Things are looking up for Jessica Darling. She has finally left her New Jersey hometown/hellhole for Columbia University in New York City; she?s more into her boyfriend, Marcus Flutie, than ever (so what if he?s at a Buddhist college in California?); and she?s making new friends who just might qualify as stand-ins for her beloved best friend, Hope.
But Jessica soon realizes that her bliss might not last. She lands an internship at a snarky Brooklyn-based magazine, but will she fit in with the überhip staff (and will she even want to)? As she and Marcus hit the rocks, will she end up falling for her GOPunk, neoconservative RA . . . or the hot (and married!) Spanish grad student she?s assisting on a summer project . . . or the oh-so-sensitive emo boy down the hall? Will she even make it through college now that her parents have cut her off financially? And what do the cryptic one-word postcards from Marcus really mean?
With hilarious insight, the hyperobservant Jessica Darling struggles through her college years?and the summers in between?while maintaining her usual mix of wit, cynicism, and candor.
From the Hardcover edition.
