Q & A versus Comprehensive Review

I found this book to be helpful in training myself to be ready to answer question after question, but what I felt I needed was the "comprehensive review" book. This Q & A book is literally ALL questions. On each page it has a column of questions and the rationale directly next to it for convenience...however this isnt the best way to practice - rather study groups of unrelated questions. If you're looking to refresh your memory - get a comprehensive review.

Good book in preparing NCLEX-RN exam!

I think this book with CD also helped me in passing NCLEX-RN on my first attempt with 75Qs. i read the whole book with 1,800Qs and almost half on the CD along with Kaplan Strategy book. "To God Be The Glory"

A MUST for anyone taking the NCLEX-RN

I used this book in conjunction with Hurst Review and passed the NCLEX-RN in 75 questions. This book was instrumental in helping me to pass the NCLEX. I used the CD almost exclusively to familiarize myself with the computer testing environment. I have Windows Vista and had no difficulties using the software. The questions were phrased exactly like the actual NCLEX-RN, so that when I took my test I felt extremely comfortable and like I was just practicing more questions. I loved the fact that they offer a "rationale" button that you can click to find out why a particular answer is the most correct choice. I highly recommend this book to anyone preparing to take the NCLEX-RN!

Passed my boards on first try

I used this book and another book by saunders as well as a Kaplan book to study for tests and my state boards. I passed nursing school w/o ever getting a C and I passed my boards on the first try. These books really helped me.

Good, but not divided by subject

Excellent questions, very helpful I think. Rationales make answers very clear. However, the book should be divided according to subject matter to make it good for exam study. The questions do have an assigned category i.e. renal, etc., but you must flip through the book and scan the category for questions in that subject for it to be highly useful for exam study...I think it will be great for the NCLEX though.
