(shouts with the gusto of a man who has found himself lost in the wood with only the nagging of a barren old women to hear) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... ok it was good... but... but...but... it was supposed to be the end.... the end i tell you... now must wait for time undisclosed... to hear of how victory will be snatched from the jaws of defeat... i have fallowed this seris from its cradle and plan to fallow to its grave... i am not a maniac who dreams of flying with pendragon threw flumes but i wish to here how it all plays out... if Bobby deafeat Saint Dane and wakes up in his bed in stoney book with a hell of a headake and says "wow man what trip"... or if somthing more happens to ensure that this world which has been created in the imagination of millions continues on... in some way... but i also want to hurt sombody was told this was the last and the end... the end is not important it is the journey that matters but... but... but... so close... but yet so far... when i finally know what happends, i will know... but for now i want to give old DJ M. such a kicking...

Pendragon

My boys are reading each of the books in this series and really enjoying them. They are 13 and 18 and believe me, getting something for the 13 year old to actually sit down and read is not an easy task. Fantastic books - I hope the writer continues the series. The boys are reading them as fast as they are published.

Pendragon Raven Rise Book 9

Thought the book was wonderful but then again all the Pendragon books are!!! Action packed and full of adventure. AAAA++++

Great Read And cant wait for the tenth!!!

There were ALOT of things not known before this book was out and still is that way. Many loose ends to finish for the last book, but still i cant wait for the last book to come out. More plot twists along the way and it dosnt go as Bobby wanted to turn out as but before you can win Saint Dane must think that he won and beat you and he most certenly does look like he won. Again very little questions answered in this book and even more questions but still its a great book, tons of action and son on...

Home Stretch

The Pendragon series has been a favorite of mine ever since my mom sent me the ARC of Merchant of Death my freshman year of college. I remember picking it up to kill the morning and getting sucked in from page one. Needless to say, I stayed in most of the day reading it. Expectations were high for Raven Rise, for I think the two books before this were very well done. I'm happy to say that Raven Rise went beyond my expectations.

We all knew that Bobby's actions at the end of the last book were going to royally mess up Halla, but, never did I think they would impact the whole of Halla as much as it. In Raven Rise we travel along with multiple travelers to different territories, seeing the vast changes in Halla from many different point of views.

The only problem that I had with the book, which might be a personal thing, was that there were some times where the constant narration grated on me. I wanted dialogue or some interaction between someone during some of the journal entries. That was only a minor problem, though.

Raven Rise is action packed, as always, but also has moments where it really gets to you at an emotional level, or at least, it got to me. DJ has again written a book where you could laugh and cry and throughly enjoy the entire ride.

4 stars from me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did
