Timely Information

While finishing The Emperor's Clothes last week, first the China market, then the US markets tanked. This book gave me valuable insight into why this might have happened, what the implications might be to my own financial circumstances, and how I might protect myself in the future.

This book deserves six stars!

Ryan Darwish offers a wealth of information in an extensively researched book about the condition of money on a global scale and the influence all economies and geopolitical events have on personal finances. He has skillfully combined facts and figures with caution, logic, and valuable advice. I especially like the fact the advice is developed through earlier discussion. What happens in a country you know little about will influence how many groceries you can buy, how prosperous you're going to be, and how far you can drive your car. The Emperor's Clothes will change your thinking and give you hope for economic freedom. This book offers a common sense guide to investing based on economic survival. How to protect your wealth

As a person about to retire this book was an answer to my concerns of how to balance investments against the financial bombs I fear are likely to happen during my retirement years. I read several financial publications and many have discussed some of the financial risks outlined in The Emperor's Clothes. However nothing has given me the broad overview necessary to prepare for them. I found the Emperor's Clothes to be a fast and easy read that was well done. I recommend it to everyone that wants to protect their wealth.
