Excellent resource those who have hard time memorizing phonic's rules

I had a few 1st grade students who were having hard time memorizing all rules of phonics. Memorizing sight-words and being able to read stories have been such a reward for these students, who were trying hard, but were not reading like their peers. This resource has improve their reading fluency as well as their seld-confidence. Our motto is: "Everybody can learn to read".

Fluency tasks

Timothy Rasinski is THE fluency guy. I had not worked with very young readers before this semester, and am glad I came across this text. I attended a seminar where Dr. Rasinski was presenting and he has some excellent ideas (backed by quality research) on ways to improve fluency in readers.
