Quicker read than I expected

I am not really into personal finance, but I must say that this book has changed my life through the way I view money. I never thought financial education could be so fun. The personal stories, clear examples, and interesting graphics made this a quicker read than I expected.

Rock solid financial wisdom--everyone should read this book!

I love the subject of personal finance, but so many of the books I read about it are too extreme in their views. I wish I had read this book a long time ago and gollowed its advice. The 8 Pillars discussed here are common sense, time-tested principles that too many people neglect these days. If more of us lived what Brian Ford teaches, the world wouldn't be in such a financial mess. What I like most about this book is how clearly the concepts are explained, and how much emphasis is given to taking action. The "Doer's Checklists" plus the way Brian kept refocusing me on my values and encouraging me to keep going were really refreshing. If you want a straightforward manual on getting your finances in order and feeling good about your future, pick this one up. I just bought several more copies to give my family members this Christmas!

So glad I found this book!

This is just what I needed to get me on track financially. Compared with the Rich Dad books this was way more helpful for a person like me who isn't obsessed with money. The way this book is organized and the breadth of subjects covered really helped me have a clear picture of what to do step-by-step to succeed financially. This book was really helpful. I started out with almost no knowledge on financial matters and the book was able to explain to me the necessary steps in building a secure financial foundation. I also loved how he tied money to values, so that there was more meaning and interest behind my finances. I now see money in a whole new light and have the tools to make it work for me.
