Behind the Bedroom Wall Revew by Krystal

Eleven year old Korinna Rehme is living during the Holocaust. Korinna finds a Jewish family hiding behind her bedroom wall and has a difficult time accepting them. As she becomes more and more acquainted with this family, she begins to realize that they aren't much different from her own family. Since this unfortunate family has been living behind her bedroom wall, Korinna gradually learned to accept them and all Jewish people.

Laura E. Williams does a great job in describing the many troubles and hardships that both Korinna's family and the Jewish family went though. Korinna's thoughts and emotions really helped me to understand first hand what she was actually going through. While reading the book I felt as if I was there with Korinna. I was able to put myself into her situation. I enjoyed reading this book because it gave me a better vision of what it was like to live during the Holocaust. This book would be wonderful for students to read for pleasure or educational purposes.

They're actually their Jews that your mother and father are hiding so that the Nazi can't take them and kill them with the mother and father. That's what happens to Korinna in behind the bedroom walls. By Laura E. Williams. This is a novel of Nazi.

When I was reading this book it was fantastic. It is exiting yet scary. I like historical fiction so if you like historical fiction you would like this book. The plot stands out from the title and also when you read. The plot is a 13 year old girl Korinna living in Nazi Germany that finds out that here mother and father are traitors to there Fatherland because they have been hiding Jew behind Korinna bed room wall. Korinna is afraid that if she does not turn them in and they got caught she would die with them and the Jews.

An exiting incident in the book is when Korinna the main character is doing her homework and she hears a sound. She heard that sound before. So she goes over to the wardrobe were the sound was coming from and moves it so that her cat can get it. When she mores the wardrobe she finds these faded faces in the dark and thinks their monsters but their not, their not their Jews and she was mad. The theme of the book is how a girl learns there is more then one side of the story that you never new.

I think it was an extraordinary book because it was easy to read and was really exiting and scary. I could picture it in my head and clearly. You could really under stand it clearly. I would recommend this book to any body how likes History.
