Awesome for older children.
I bought it for my 7 year old, and love the book, but the book targets the older child, I would say ages 9 and up. Very good book though, I was able to read it to my child, and explain
cliques etc
. He understand it, which is good, but still has lots of questioning, typically normal of a 7 year old.
READ IT NOW
This book changed my life our forth grade teacher read it to the class after we'd been having troble with
cliques
. evrything the book talks about is true now we solve our clique problems with out using names or using examples from the book to put the bullys in the bullyed shoes.

I use it in my classroom
I teach fifth grade and we always show Trevor Romain's video first, then read the book together. It is not really for kids any older than 5th grade. The book is very light reading, fast and easy to read, lots of drawings. Sometimes it is repetitive but that's because kids often need to see the same thing over and over until it sinks in. I recommend this book for ages 9 to 11.
Great book for pre-teen
Great basic book for my fifth grader. She read it quickly, understood the content, and it helped her to understand what's going on with her friends a bit better. Well written, basic, and not overloaded with details, which is perfect for this age group. She said she will read it again. I read it too and was impressed!
